Masala dons the Captain's hat to tell the story of a Bank robbery where things are not quite what they seem. Follow "Lady Cop" as she makes her way through suspect testimony accompanied by crackling drums and a driving bassline provided by Kaivai.
Day Four - Get To Bouncin'
PBD gets comfy in the captain's seat for this heater produced by Gooda. The scratched up vocal samples of Manic D, Kaivai and PBD on the hook set this track alight as the they recount tales of the Welly club scene.
Day Five - Not Death.....Deaf
El Capitain Gooda gets his Jigga on as Katt Williams classic "This Shit Right Here" routine is scratched to pieces then put together again to remind listeners just how good this shit right here actually is. Blistering guitar backed up with solid kicks and snares let Manic D and Kaivai show their rhyming skills.
Day Six - End Of Love
Kaivai took the reins with this early 90's New York Backpaker style cut. End of Love samples Madeleine Peyroux's interpretation of Leonard Cohen's "Dance Me To The End of Love". Kaivai opens the proceedings with a cautionary tale of someone falling too hard too quick.
Day Seven - All Night Long
Donning the Captains uniform once again Kaivai takes Lionel Richie's classic song and turns it into an anthem for Wellington City. Masala blisters through the opening bars showcasing her passion for hip-hop
